It’s the start of 2013 but I’ve never been a big resolution person.
There. I said it. I don’t know why. It’s not that I don’t think I will be successful in achieving my resolution goal. I’m not afraid of failure. I just never was big on setting a goal on January 1.
Maybe because I don’ think using the first of the year as an excuse to FINALLY begin your goal is ideal.
Why wait? Just start.
And I do like the idea of choosing a word for the year, but then I can’t decide on just one.
(or what if I want to change my word mid March?)
What are you doing to kick start 2013? What do you want to accomplish?
What is in store for me in 2013?
Growth.
(Personal & Business) I believe there is always room for personal growth. The list of books I want to read this year is long! What books are in your que? Share them with me! I’ll share mine with you as I go along. Promise.
And of course there is always room for growth in business. With the ever changing world we live in, I am always excited to keep up with the changes and challenges it may present. Bring it on!
Change.
Our family is up for a move this summer! BIG CHANGE THERE! But in the military, we have no say in when and where so I’m embracing it… Our next destination has yet to be determined, but we are eager and anxious and even excited for the next chapter in our lives! My oldest, who is 15, is not as excited… but she is dealing. Moving during your high school years is nothing to get excited about, in fact, its near world shattering. But I know she will survive. We all will.
Consistency.
I will strive to be more consistent in blogging and connecting with my lovely followers… (*nudge….that’s you!)
No more bursts of mini consistent post series. Okay? Okay.
Whether you are a resolution setter or not. I don’t judge.
Set goals for yourself in 2013.
Big or small.
Let’s achieve them together!

Awesome post Kimberly! and great resolve there by Donna Stewart too! me? hmmmm well like you I’m not big on “resolutions” per say, but I am big on always becoming a better human being…..caring more for others, having more patience, apologizing when I need to, and trying hard not to do things I need to apologize for….haha…how’s that? and of course “growth” like you, in life and in my business!!

HI Kimberly! WOW, just signed up for your Vlog series, and yes totally a vlog Virgin (hee hee). The idea of change always makes my belly a bit rumbly – yet I am pretty fearless. I’ve been waiting to video, putting it off, scared, blah blah blah … so just wanted to declare here and now… I will not longer be a Vlog Virgin!!
Hugs and love,
Loving your sparkle,
Robin

I am not much of a goal setter. I feel as though intentions are much stronger for me to set, rather than goals. Then I can allow the “mysterious unfoldment process” to do its thing. My intention this year is to actualize my own personal authority. I will do this by questioning why and what I am doing, consciously, in order to fully come into my own uniqueness.

Awesome post Kimberly!
I also did not set a January 1 goal…I started last year to do some big changes in my life and in my business so in 2013…I am continuing to grow, innovate and achieve more!
I think it’s great to pick a word for the year…last year for me was all about “clarity” …this year is Achieve & Innovate…
I also think it’s OK to change your word mid- March
…why not? There are no rules…LOL
Great share!

Hi Kimberly,
I totally feel the same way! Not too into resolutions, but defining simple themes that I can stay committed to throughout the year.

What a lovely sunny attitude you have to life, 2013 and goals Kimberly. Goals are important and give us a structure – but life has to be fitted in around them, so as long as they’re on the radar and we’re moving the right direction – that’s all good

Love “Resolve to Evolve” Donna

I don’t really make resolutions but I am going to be more productive. The year didn’t start off very well as I had to be out of town “nursing” my mother in law. The responsibilites kept me away from my weekly call that I enjoy so much and I wasn’t able to talk to very many contacts. But now I am back in the saddle and ready to go..
